Coaches

BEN BEZNOSKA - Baseball

Ben has 6 years experience as a high school coach. He played for Atwater High School from 1994 to 1998. He then played at Merced College from 1999 to 2001.

Ben went to CSU Stanislaus from 2001 to 2004 where he was a part of CSU Stanislaus' first playoff birth in Division II in fourteen years. He played Ind. in 2005 and has served as a Freshman Head Coach for 1 year, Head Junior Varsity Coach for 2 years, and Varsity Pitching Assistant for 3 years.

BRAD BICKFORD - Baseball

Brad is a graduate of Atwater High School in 2000. He played for Merced College from 2001-2003. He made First eam All Central Valley Conference Relief Pitcher in 2002.

He was the Assistant Varsity Coach for Atwater High School for 3 ears and the Freshman Head Coach for 2 years.

TIM ARNSBERG - Baseball

Tim attended Medford High School in Medford, Oregon and was voted the Most Valuable Baseball Player of the Southern Oregon Conference. After his senior season, he was awarded First Team All-State Honors. Following high school he moved to Merced and played two years at Merced College. While playing there, he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays, but accepted a scholarship to San Diego State University. During the summer while at SDSU he played for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in the Alaskan League. During his second summer in Alaska he was selected Pitcher of the Year. Also while at SDSU he was selected to play on a U.S. National team and participated in the World Baseball Championship Series in Havana, Cuba where the team successfully won a Bronze Medal behind teams Cuba and Japan.
At the conclusion of his college career he was drafted and signed a professional baseball contract with the Houston Astros organization in which he played for three years.

ED GASPER - Fast-pitch Softball

Ed has been pitching fastpitch softball for 15 years with various teams throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has pitched in National and World tournaments for 13 years. He has won numerous team championships and MVP pitching awards with NAFA, ISC and ASA.

He coaches girls Merced City softball. He has been teaching girls fastpitch for all levels of skill for the past 5 years. He is currently pitching with a West Coast fastpitch travel team for 2009.
